Leadership

Founder & President

Michelle Soto, the President and Founder of Letters of Hope, holds a master's degree in criminology, law, and society. Her journey with Letters of Hope began after watching The Farm Documentary, which shed light on the isolation individuals face in one of the toughest prisons, where letters cease after three years. Touched by this revelation, Michelle felt a deep calling to bring solace and support to those experiencing hardship. Motivated by the power of written encouragement, she initiated Letters of Hope, a nonprofit dedicated to spreading positivity and connection through heartfelt letters. Michelle's commitment to giving back and her passion for making a difference in the lives of those in need have been driving forces in the growth and impact of the organization.
